No one should set sail without being properly informed. It is in this spirit that I would like to give you an overview here of the content of the information sheets dedicated to the ‘eyes in mosaic’ sites.

Pierre chose these sites with care, but he did not mention the locations in his booklet. This will be the subject of a forthcoming article in my short accompanying text.

These locations form part of a historical, social, cultural and geographical context linked to maritime life in Brittany, in Finistère. They convey, in a special way, the spirit and message that Pierre has left us. You’ll find more information in the ‘A TRIBUTE’ section. To make it easier for you to consult your personal booklet, I have included the page numbers. However, the numbering changed from the 9th edition onwards, published in November 2025. That is why I have included both the old and new page numbers.
